Coyote Creek has its headwaters in the mountains that border San Jose and Morgan Hill to the east. The free flow of water and life-supporting gravel and fish are all blocked by Coyote Reservoir and Anderson Dam. Below Anderson Dam, the Creek flows northward over 28 miles all the way through Morgan Hill, San Jose, and Milpitas to the southern end of the San Francisco Bay.
Here is Coyote Creek as it flows through Morgan Hill, San Jose, and Milpitas. To zoom in, use the "+" sign on the Google Map, or use the scroll wheel on the mouse and scroll up while hovering over the map with the cursor.
